Matt
Matt has always had a keen interest in outdoor activities. He grew up in Ennis but fell in love with the sea and West Clare. Previously, he has dived, surfed and whitewater kayaked. Nowadays he cycles and hikes.
Matts main sport is sea-kayaking which he enjoys whenever he can.
He wrote the Clare section of the guide book, Oileain, the sea kayaking guide to the Irish islands & coast.
Matt is passionate about developing e-biking on Loop Head. He knows the peninsula like the back of his hand and shares his knowledge generously.
Matt will act as your tour guide if you want to discover the hidden secrets and the very best that Loop Head has to offer.
Gary
All of his life Gary has pursued outdoor adventures. He has enjoyed various sports, including offshore sailing, scuba diving, mountaineering, cycling, triathlon, wakeboarding and water-based activities.
Gary is keen to see Loop Head tourism being developed sustainably. He wants to share his knowledge of and love for this area.
